Independent Report
exteriorOriginally an 18th century manor house, the building has been restored, modernised and adapted, with a modern annexe. The fountain and forecourt are very elegant and impressive.
restaurantThe main building of the hotel holds a formal dining room, together with a less formal Italian restaurant. This offers a more relaxed atmosphere in the colonial bar and has a Raffles-like feel.
locationThe hotel is situated near the coast, and towards the suburb of Blackrock, on the Stillorgan road. The city centre is a ten minute drive.
generalOne of the most talked about developments in Dublin, created with no expense spared, to provide the utmost in luxury. It combines a beautiful hotel and gardens, with the very latest in modern design and opened in august 1998 to great acclaim.
(BL 10/2004)
